I am Chandrashekhar, working as a government primary school teacher and have 10 years of experience in this field. I was born in a farming family in the year 1983; during my childhood, I used to help my father on his farm after my school hours and vacation time. I got a good education in my life because of my father. Basically, he is an educated farmer who knew the value of education, but we had a tough time in my early childhood days because earning was limited.

l did my primary education in a school where we had limited facilities, including teaching faculties; because of that, l didn't get proper guidance in English as well as hold on that subject. Due to that, l struggled a lot in my tenth [grade] English exam to pass. When I entered my pre-university, l did well in all the subjects except English, because l didn't get proper guidance about that subject so l failed in English. That day, l realized that l should become a good teacher, especially in English; what l have faced in my life shouldn’t be repeated in anyone’s student life. l started to work on English, then I joined the teacher's training centre and I completed my course in the year 2005. Later, l started as a volunteer teacher for English and Math subjects in primary school where I studied.

l got an appointment in 2007 as a government primary school teacher at Government Lower Primary School at Vinayaka Nagara, which is near Bidadi. I worked here for two years. The school strength was 20 when l was appointed and gradually increased its strength to 70, due to my new methodology teaching method in all subjects, especially as I was using audio and video method which influenced the parents a lot. They were impressed by my teaching-learning materials; I got State award, District award and Taluk award for making effective teaching-learning material.

In the year 2009, I got a mutual transfer to the Government Lower Primary School at Bevinamara Colony, the school where I’m working now. Initially, we had 32 strength, but now we have 85 because of my new methodology teaching methods, which attracted a lot [of students] and started to increase our school strength. My English teaching method is especially appreciated by everyone. Even today, I'm using the same techniques to teach basic English to all my students. In KR Puram educational Taluk, I'm the first person to use a projector to teach all my subjects.

I recommend all my teacher friends to use the technology in your classrooms to teach your lessons, because when we use audio-video method in teaching, it reaches a student very fast, [unlike] simple reading teaching method. Video-audio teaching method is scientifically proven, and personally, l experienced [the effects] also.

I'm using Meghshala the in all my classroom activities, where students are enjoying and learning very fast also. Meghshala has introduced some techniques by using the projector to teach a lesson. Thanks to Meghshala, that they are providing instant teaching materials in video and audio form which is helping us to save time in preparing materials for teaching in the classroom; that time we can use for effective teaching in our classes, by using projector teaching method which is provided by Meghshala.

I believe that if I teach effectively in a student's life, then l can build a knowledgeable and beautiful generation for the future.
