Who are we?

Meghshala, meaning "school on a cloud" is a not for profit ed-tech company built on the belief in improving the education system in India, particularly in low-income government schools. 

We believe that when you empower a teacher, you empower a classroom. We create e-lessons based on the national syllabus and publish them on our android app. These lessons contain stories, activities, illustrations, and videos that make them attractive to teach and learn. The short term advantage to teachers is that they save time on creating lesson plans for their classes. The long term advantage is that by continuous exposure to our lessons, teachers will be able to go on to create their own lessons based on our five core principles (creative, active, reflective, empathetic, and critical). This will elevate the general level of teaching and, thus, education across the country.
